Douglas Newcomer - President/CEO and Founder

Doug began his construction company 33 years ago as a single carpenter right out of trade school. His business, Trim Plus, was a sub-contracting firm to area builders as a finish carpenter. After extending his education, Doug started building additions and recreation rooms to existing homes.  In 1988, Doug expanded into home building, building both speculative and custom homes. Today Trim Plus Custom Homes and Trim Plus is highly regarded as a unique custom home builder and remodeler in the state of Maryland with hundreds of satisfied clients.

Throughout his years as a builder and remodeling contractor in good standing with National Home Builders Association, Trim Plus has donated time and material for many Roof Raising events in the greater Frederick County area, providing new homes at no cost for homeless families and giving back to the very community that raised him.

It was from his interests in perfecting HVAC systems for his clients in his home building career that the XChanger concept was born. Doug made application for the patent, formed a company and seeked out partners to deliver this great technology to industry.

Doug and his wife Debbie, of 36 years, have raised three children, and have six grandchildren. Doug and Debbie now reside on Kent Island in Maryland.
